This new body of work encompasses typography and abstraction, a delicate balance between the strict graphic nature of text and the fluid energetic function of abstracts.

The inspiration for this series started with an intrinsic curiosity of the random colors and patterns upon the studio drop cloth. Smudges and smears of excess paint and drips formed interesting color patterns inspiring artistic senses within me to envision strong bold compositions.

The addition of text within the painting evolved into a narrative as random as the paint markings. Abstract shapes along with embellished markings colluding and complementing the theme of the painting.

There seemed to be an orchestrated passion for organization and placement to create a cohesive conversation between the elements of design, artistry and story thus encouraging me to emblaze a clearer voice within my work with the added hope of becoming a stronger visionary individualist.
